Welcome to Beauty School Boss. A software company designed for teachers by a teacher. With eight years of experience as a Career Technical High School cosmetology teacher and over two decades of experience in the beauty industry, I've cultivated a fulfilling career.

Before my teaching career began, I earned my Bachelors in Business Administration while working as a hair stylist and makeup artist. Once I transitioned into teaching I dedicated myself to furthering my education. I earned a Masters degree in Workforce Education and Development, honing my skills to become an effective and engaging teacher. Teaching my passion for the beauty industry was not just a profession; it was a rewarding journey of helping students grow both personally and professionally.

As a cosmetology instructor my days were a whirlwind of responsibilities—tracking student hours, scheduling appointments, managing inventory, and maintaining records to comply with the State Board of Cosmetology and the Department of Education. Juggling these tasks for over 40 high school students was indeed the most daunting part of my career.

The pandemic of 2020 challenged educators to adapt to a new educational model. Instructors had to incorporate Zoom classes, remote hours, and face the challenge of a decrease in student engagement all while navigating a public health and mental health crisis. During the two years preceding the pandemic, it became evident that education was forever changed and it was my new mission to become a part of the solution to help instructors who were facing the same challenges that I was. I became passionate about bringing engagement back into education and providing a solution that will enable teachers to experience more joy and less stress in their teaching career.

In 2022 I created Beauty School Boss with a mission to revolutionize the educational journey for beauty school instructors and students. I created the software to help educators spend more time teaching and less time doing daunting administrative tasks. The software elevates the teaching experience by enhancing engagement, streamlining administrative tasks, and ultimately contributing to the overall success of beauty school operations.
